Technical SEO foundations for generated sites

Why metadata, canonical URLs, structured data, image text, robots, and sitemap belong in the generation plan.

Technical SEO begins with a page that can be understood by people and crawlers. A title and description should describe the visible page, while canonical, Open Graph, robots, and sitemap signals help a site behave consistently across search and sharing surfaces.

Generated projects also need discipline around claims. Structured data should only be used when the page has the visible information required to support it. Image alt text should describe the role and subject of an image rather than repeating a generic label.

Content quality, performance, accessibility, internal links, and a useful information architecture remain more important than filling a page with keywords. SEO is part of the product experience, not a last-minute string replacement.
